M-480 Coaxing Kitty with Kibble – RETIRED

Product Information:

M-480 Coaxing Kitty with Kibble
This scene is adorable. Wee Mousey, dressed in pink with an apron, is trying to coax her cute little kitty down from the top of the cupboard. She calls “Here kitty, kitty! What are you doing up there? I have something yummy for you!”

She and her sweet kitty come with a charming platform for display — a wonderfully sculpted corner of her Wee Forest Folk house! The outside of this piece is just as charming. You will find cleverly sculpted details such as a tree with a hoot-owl and more. Scene includes Wee Mousey, Kitty, cupboard, kitchen table set and all little accessories seen in photo.

Sculpted by Donna, this little scene is just so sweet! 3.25″ x 4″

Released July 2013. Retired February 2017.

Item Description

Wee Forest Folk is a small family business, which delights in producing a line of miniatures – most of which are mice.

Annette Petersen crafted her first little critter many years ago. Since then her children have learned the ways of the mice and have created their own! Each miniature sculpture is a casting of an original piece sculpted in clay by either Annette, Willy or Donna Petersen.

Annette’s first mice were made of bread dough, which didn’t last very long (nibbled by the real thing, of course!). Now, we have much more sophisticated methods of molding which add strength and durability to every piece.

Meticulous hand painting brings each sculpture to life as talented artists have been carefully selected for their delicate hand skills. An enormous amount of time and patience is invested in producing this line. Everyone involved takes personal pride in assuring the quality of each mouse sculpture as it progresses through the many steps along the way to completion.

Wee Forest Folk sculptures are created, produced and copyrighted by the Petersen family since 1972 and are handcrafted entirely in Carlisle, Massachusetts, USA.
